We've been around the block once or twice, and we've seen many changes in the surf wear industry since we started. So when we decided to re-launch Mambo Surf De Luxe, sustainability was a no brainer.

We're stoked to work towards becoming a leader in sustainability, and to ensure our sustainability commitments are met we have developed a Sustainability Strategy that guides us over the next 5 years and holds us accountable to continuous improvement.

Mambo Surf De Luxe's focus is to use environmentally friendly fabrics where possible. 

Material selection accounts for around 80% of a textile products environmental impact. New processes and fabrics are emerging that allow us to significantly reduce a products environmental footprint.

Mambo Surf De Luxe has committed to bold targets for sustainable materials in recognition of their importance in improving the environmental impact of our business and industry at large.

We currently use a range of more sustainable fabrics.

All of our Tees and Longsleeves are made using Certified Organically Grown Cotton.

All our Loud Shirts are made from LENZING™ ECOVERO™ - the eco responsible viscose fibre, which is derived from certified and controlled wood sources and produced with significantly lower fossil fuel energy use and water than generic viscose.

Our recycled polyester Mambo Volley Shorts are made from REPREVE® post consumer recycled polyester. REPREVE® is made from recycled materials including plastic bottles.

Mambo Surf De Luxe is committed to ensuring socially and environmentally responsible sourcing practices across our entire supply chain.

We do this in accordance with the law, international obligations, and our customer and licensor compliance requirements. Ethical sourcing is NON NEGOTIABLE in our business and, in turn we expect the same from every part of our supply chain.

To meet our ethical sourcing commitment, Surf De Luxe has implemented an Ethical Sourcing Program that is applicable to all suppliers contracted to Mambo Surf De Luxe to supply merchandise or on behalf of Mambo Surf De Luxe.
